One word summed it up. Amazing! I just wasn't expecting such an amazing revealtion of the power of love and commitment, in the midst of great difficulties. to produce better, rather than bitter, people and a better world. Debra's vulnerability and realism took me by surprise, as did her canonization of Fred rather than crucifying him. Debra would waltz away with Best Playwright, and be stiff competion for Leading Actress in a Musical.
Tanya's expressive non-verbal playing aptly communicated all that needed to be expressed. She could be the world's first interpretive pianist for the deaf. I saw Million Dollar Quartet on a cruise in January, and the guy doing an awesome portrayal of Jerry Lee Lewis, expressed a tenth of the emotion and meaning conveyed by Tanya. She would easily tango away with a Tony for collaborative pianist.
