Tanya Taylor graduated with a degree in Music Performance from the University of Utah, followed by earning an Executive MBA. She has worked as a Professor (Strayer University), Performing Arts Director, Executive Director, Sound Engineer, Journalist, Accompanist, Motivational Speaker, and Social Activist.
Most recently, Ms. Taylor was featured in Carnegie Hall as the collaborative accompanist for professional opera singer, Debra Cook.
Ms. Taylor was featured in Park City Magazine as one of the top three talent coaches in Utah. She has owned and operated her own company, Taylor Productions, for the past 20 years - producing over 500 live shows to date. Currently, she works as a Producer, Sound Engineer, Recording Artist and owns and operates two independent recording studios.
In 2019, Ms. Taylor wrote and produced the musical, SUDAN & ME, At the World Premiere for the musical, Front Row Reviewer’s claimed, “Tanya Taylor is a beautiful and talented woman with an even more beautiful heart, and this is a story that needs to be told and re-told.”
Ms. Taylor just released her new musical, POWERTRIP, as thought-provoking story that examines the justice system through the eyes of single mom.
In December 2019, Ms. Taylor released the first volume of DIVERSITY: A HOLIDAY CELEBRATION. The project, which earned positive reviews from June C. Ginsburg and Bryan Stevenson (Equal Justice Initiative), currently features 126 professional musicians around the globe.
