Tanya Taylor graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Education from the University of Utah, followed by earning an Executive MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute. She has worked as a Professor (Strayer University), Performing Arts Director, Executive Director, Motivational Speaker, and Social Activist.
Most recently, Ms. Taylor was featured in Carnegie Hall as the collaborative accompanist alongside professional opera singer, Debra Cook.
Ms. Taylor was featured in Park City Magazine as one of the top three talent coaches in Utah. She has owned and operated her own company, Taylor Productions, for the past 20 years - producing over 500 live shows to date. Currently, she works as a Producer, Sound Engineer, Recording Artist and owns and operates two independent recording studios. She has released over 20 albums to date.
In 2019, Ms. Taylor wrote and produced the musical, SUDAN & ME. At the World Premiere for the musical, Front Row Reviewer’s claimed, “Tanya Taylor is a beautiful and talented woman with an even more beautiful heart, and this is a story that needs to be told and re-told.”
Ms. Taylor just released her latest musical, POWERTRIP - where the justice system is the place of injustice.
In December 2019, Ms. Taylor released the inaugural album to DIVERSITY: A HOLIDAY CELEBRATION. The project earned accolades from June C. Ginsburg and Bryan Stevenson (Equal Justice Initiative). The collective body of work currently features 142 professional musicians around the globe (having recently recorded artists in Croatia, Japan, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam).
An accomplished writer, Ms. Taylor is currently working on a book about antisemitism through a project with The National Endowment for the Humanities.
